Cleaning Instructions-Regular cleaning
Use as dry methods as possible like dry-mopping or vaccum cleaning. If the dirt is stucked in to the floor,use a mixture of water and soft-soap(1/10)In regular using of soft-soap mixturthe limestone will get a balanced por fillingthat is necessary as surface protection.If you get a saturated surface caused by soft-soap you will get a surface that is potted and sober and you can take this away with water and a neutral detergent,mop dy afterwords.
Soft-soap pore filling
50/50 water and soft-soap,put on the floor about 4-5 times.Whwn you get an oily surface mop the floor with a tear and water one time.

Rubberheels
Black marks caused by rubberheels can be removed with thinner or turpentine.
Glue
Glue-rests can be removed with thinner ,you can also try aceton with caution.
Marking pens
Use thinner or aceton with caution.You can also try T-alcohol together with paper or mixed like a paste.
Paste: Mix chalk or potatoeflour together with thinner, T-alcohol or turpentine to a dough.Put on the smudge and let it dry.
Plastic paint
Smudges caused by plastic paint is very difficult to remove when the colour has tempered. The colour has to be wiped away with water before it has tempered. If there still is tempered colour smudbes you need to scrape those away with a razerblade.
Oil or enamel paint
Use thinner or turpentine in combination with paper or mixed like a paste (take a look at marking pens) In case of need use ammonia together with water to wash after with.
Rust
Rust smudges is very difficult to remove.In case of smudges caused by rust you need to consider how importent it is to remove the smudge in proportion of the carrod damage oxalic-acid can cause.
Stearin
Remove as much as you can very carefully with a knife or a razerblade.Afterwords use lead-free benzine mixed like a paste(take a look at marking pens).
Tea
Tea smudges can be diffcult to remove,you can try to bleach with chlorine but be awared that the chlorin can eat its way in to the limestone!
Urine
Wash the limestone clean with a neutral detergent.
Tape
Glue rests can be removed with thinner,you can also try aceton with caution. |
